We had a great time in KC over the past weekend. We visited with Kara's cousin John and Jenny, when to Schlitterbahn, ate at Joe's Crab Shack for the first time, had some great ice cream, and visited the city market and saw the Riverboat Arabia museum. We had a blast, Kate couldn't stop saying "wiver boat".

After celebrating her birthday three times, I think we can now safely say, yes, Kate is two!

We celebrated Kate's birthday twice on Monday. She had a party at school with all her friends and we had a private party at home with a very cute Hello Kitty cake made by mommy!

hop hop hop

i taught i taught i heard a wabbit. We practiced our easter egg hunting skills at a local neighborhood hunt this past sunday. We arrived a little late but were able to find a few eggs that somehow were missed. Thankfully, a few people were nice enough to throw some of their eggs down for Kate to practice searching for "EHGG" as she says. Pics in the gallery.

fun under the...sun

Well, it wasn't exactly sunny, but Kate did have fun at the park tonight with some other little kids. She enjoyed the slide the most and watching the other kids climbing all over the equipment and petting the other dogs.

spring is in the air

We had a fun evening playing outside in the cool spring air this evening. We even had a chance to break out the bike trailer that Kate got for Christmas from her Grandpa. We're surely going to get some muscles hauling those extra 50lb's behind us!

We tried to make a snowman (snow-no as Kate would say) yesterday, but the snow was just too light and fluffy and it was too bitterly cold. No matter, she enjoyed her first unassisted trip into the snow!
